What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA
My question is out of curiosity. If a 16 year old (who is living with her mother ) gets pregnant and has the baby who is the baby's legal guardian ? If the teen mother doesn't sign any papers for the mother/grandmother giving guardianship of the baby is the mother/grandmother the baby's guardian because the 16 year old is still dependent on her mother ? The 16 year old is still going to school .
Thanks for any answers.

The mother of the baby is the baby's legal guardian. Grandparents have no inherent legal say or rights to their grandchildren.

Where would Dad be in this equation?

Don't know where he is. Don't think he is in the picture.
He had to have been in the picture at some point...though it's probably moot.

The baby's mother - regardless of the mother's age - is the baby's legal parent who should also probably file for child support.
