We currently are going through a guardianship case against our son concerning his 13 month old child. The child is living with us. We recently went to the first hearing and visitation between our son and the child was established being supervised by the son's real father. Drug test was ordered and the results came back positive for marijuana. The minute order states that if test was positive, then visitation would continue as supervised.
Since he did test for drugs, we want either to have all visitation terminated, or at least supervised by a professional service.
What are the chances of filing something and having it changed before the next hearing date which is September 13th.
The safety if the child is paramount here and with drugs being involved, and the father who is doing the supervidion not holding the son to account, we are afraid for the child's safety during the visitation hours.
