What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MD
Thank you in advance for any help.

Yesterday, after a 3+ yrs of trying to get Right of first refusal from my ex husband, he agree'd to ROF for overnights. I took it as a start. I'd like ROF for 5+hrs when he (or I ) cannot be with our son. He refused on this.
We are set to go to trial over this in March if he can't come to some sort of agreement.

My question is, Is there a standard ROF in Maryland regarding how much time a child can't be in the custody of one parent, the other gets ROF?
Thanks for your time.

I am not aware of a standard in Maryland. It's common for orders to read 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, 8 hours or overnight. It really depends on each situation and how far apart the parents live. If the parents are an hour away from each other it would be kind of silly do have the 2 hour limit.
