What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Alabama. I Have visitation of my daughter but my X wife is refusing to let me see her. I want to file a Rule NISI but dont have the money for a lawyer. How do I go about filing it myself?

Alabama has very few forms online for the public's use. However, I have located a few resources, but none pertaining to Rule Nisi (that's contempt filing for the rest of you folks outside Bama.) There is a form for filing contempt at the eforms site under the civil selection.

Here is Alabama Code on Custody and Support:

DoItYourself Forms :

More Forms:
Domestic Forms - Birmingham Bar Association

Law schools usually offer clinics for free help, to train the law students.
Here's a link to UA's School of Law Clinics:
The University of Alabama School of Law

Samford University also has Cumberland School of Law:
Cumberland School of Law

Then, there's the Birmingham School of Law:
BSOL - Welcome

Here's a number for the Miles Law School; No information on their website if they offer clinics or such, but the worst they can do is tell you no.

You'll also need to read up on the court's rules and regulations. I haven't found them online (unless I've missed them in the Alabama Statutes). http://alisondb.legislature.state.al.us/acas/ACASLoginFire.asp

Just one quick question.... Are you physically going to the pickup point or is Mom telling you 'No' over the phone/email/text? If Mom's telling you 'No' and you're accepting it then it might be a waste of time. If you are physically showing up and Mom isn't producing the child, you'll have a better chance. Receipts from a nearby convenience store showing time and date, getting the police to make a report (though they can't enforce a civil matter, you can still show them your copy of the order and ask them to make a report) is another way to establish a pattern of behavior on Mom's part that will help you to convince the court that Mom is indeed in contempt of the visitation order.
