What is the name of your state? tennessee
my husband and myself are thinking about taking 2 children into our home. their mother has already signed over her rights to the father and now he is not sure if he can care for them himself. What kind of legal work will we have to go through if he does decide to give us these 2 children. the ages are 2 and 3 yrs. if he signes them over to us what right s does he have to them and can he come back and take them or visit them . can we legally change their last name and i have many other questions but i just dont know how to ask them . please help me. very confused and need advice. thanks:confused: :confused:
