What is the name of your state? I live in new york, last year my husband (almost ex now) was arrested for drug posession & posession of child pornography. Long story short, he is now a level 2 registered sex offender and recieved 10yrs probation. He was granted supervised visitation for our 3 kids. His parents are the supervisors. (He lives with them) I was granted a 5 yr complete stay away order of protection for myself & kids. with the exception of the supervised visits every other sat. for 4 hrs and one phonecall a week (my kids call his cell every tues @6pm). What are the responsibilities of the supervisors? what if something comes up and I need to cancel/re-schedule a visit? I understand it is ordered but life happens and other family functions/obligations may land on a "visit day"....I can not discuss with ex (per the order) and when i try to discuss with supervisors (the grandparents) they say they can not discuss it until they speak to my ex, who inturn says not to discuss it with him...im lost in a loophole....anyone know the rules of this or where i can find it? thanks!

The supervisors have an obligation to discuss and work out these things with you. If they won't cooperate, then perhaps you should suggest to them that you may need to ask the judge to find other supervisors.
