I am a father with shared custody of my 5yr old daughter in CT. I need to modify my current child support and custody
arrangements due to changes in earnings and my daugther
starting school full-time. Is it nessesary and or prudent
to hire an attorney for this action?

If you can work it out with you ex, then no.. otherwise, if you can afford it.. then yes, always.
