What is tIn the State of North Carolina, what is the LEGAL procedure for applying for Temporary Legal Guardianship of a Minor???? Can one use an online form which simply needs a Notary or does the Court Judge have to finalize the paperwork???? NEED TO KNOW!!!!!!! ASAP, Please!!!!! THANKS IN ADVANCE!

A notarized piece of paper is worthless. Always, to take custody of a child, one would need a court order from a judge.

This is NEVER going to be an "ASAP!" thing. You need to be calm and cool, to handle what is apparently freaking you right out.

Think "best interest of the child."
