    $3 Child Support (AZ)

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Arizona

I have just completed an update CS Worksheet. The OP will be ordered to pay $3.30 a month in CS.

Can this be Deviated from to $0.00? I believe it's a waste of manpower and resources and the clearinghouse will charge just that much to handle it per month anyways. OP has agreed to "extra activities" with the child to make up the difference (which we both agree to).

    Thank you.

If both parents agree and no monies are owed to the state the parents can submit the agreement to the court.

I say he writes you a check for $40.00 in January and just be done with it. As for waste of manpower, most of it is automated, the rest of it has to be done anyway.
    Someone else sees it too:

Well... yeah. The way it's always been presented to me is more like the justification of a business. The clearinghouse charges $2.25 per month to be record keeper of the transaction. The obligation is $3.30 per month. It would cost almost as much to manage the obligation as it would to fulfill the obligation. It strikes me as a waste.

I am planning to approach this with a deviation to $0.00 that the OP will have an extra activity with the child (which the mother and I agreed to be a Soda and fries to sit and have a 20 min "what's going on" talk every month).

Wow - that's magnanimous of you! Will you rescind that if Mom decides to allow a coffee and donut instead?
Children aren't coloring books. You don't get to fill them in with your favorite colors.
