What is the name of your state?
Current Judge has made many unfavorable decisions about child support.
Child Support Enforcement recently changed my case to IV-D.
I am told that I should ask Child Support Enforcement to file for a Modification of child support. They have stated they agree my CS should be increased.
The problem is I think it would be a waste of time if it is decided by the same judge. Several people have told me when you file a petition of modification on an IV-D case; the case gets transferred different judge that only handles IV-D cases. Is this accurate?
Or can my old judge hold onto the case?
