My ex is trying to force me to get braces for our 10 year old daughter. Not out of medical necessity but cosmetically. I would rather wait until she's older and I'm more financially able. She refuses to wait, not to mention, she already gets nearly $800 a month in C/S and wants money for this too. Does anyone know if elective orthodontics can be forced in Fla?

What does it say in the judgment in your lawsuit?
Nothing specific as to medical other than percentages and the ex claims her income is almost nil. I provide the medical insurance which is helpful but falls well short of the total incurred.
