What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
Getting him ordered to pay child support is not the problem. Actually collecting from him if he is ordered to pay child support is the problem. That would be quite difficult to do if he is in Mexico. On top of that wages in Mexico are so low that even if you could get him to voluntarily comply, the amount you would receive would be a pittance.
