Can state over ride written agreement to child support

What is the name of your state? Michigan

If you have a written agreement through the foc for a certain amount of child support and the other parent files for state assistance, will the state abide by that amount or force the foc to go by support formula....Jess

IF someone goes back to court for a modification AND the custodial parent is receiving medicaid, they will calculate it on the amount that it should be. If you have a current order, they will go by what is there ...

Prior experience.

State trumps. They are seeking reimbursement for the cost of the assistance being provided.
