My son is almost 18. He decided to quit high school and move in with his father. He stayed with him for a couple of months. Will I be responsible for paying him back the child support even though the court order is in place and I have custody?

If he was not living with you and you know he was living with his Father , morally you should have cashed the payment ,then returned that amount .
Technically , probably not .
