child support ,who has jurisdiction, and can it be contested now?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? south dakota
How do you order a determination on jurisdiction analysis in a child support case for two different states Maryland and South Dakota.Maryland being the state the child and mother lives in and i am in South Dakota because of the Military only.Maryland had just did a Modifications in FEB.07 and Md. said that they was not going to do another Modification for 3yrs.There was no changes in income by 25% on my behalf. But because the mother in the state of Maryland couldnt get them to do another modification.she had the state of maryland to send it to the state of South dakota to be register and have a Modification done. I didnt no that you can object to the registration.I just went to the court hearing and than they sent me a letter with an increase of $300. more but the the income was the same from Maryland modifications.Im doing an appeal right now but from talking to the DSS person they are saying that they never receive the modifications from Maryland the thing they received was an order from the state of VA. which was dated back 1998.That was the Oringal order but the Modify order from Maryland was never sent to the State of south Dakota. So they only receive Old orders and a request of modifications and registration from MD. Now, that they no of the Modifications from MD they have requested that MD send a copy to them and i am getting a copy from MD also. I believe the Mother and her social worker had something to do with the missing Maryland Modifications. But I'am asking if doing a Termination on Jurisdiction Analysis would help me any.The state of SD said that it looks like they are going to close it out.But they are now waiting to get the Md modification, and that i should have said at the trial that there was already a modification in Md done last yrs.they would have stop the case then. What should I do now? (Now that Md's child support went from being $427 to SD $758.)
