Hello, I pay child support to my daughter until she is 18. She is 17 and going to get married, after she is married do I still need to pay support? Please advise

marriage is a form of emancipation. her new husband would be legally responsible for her. as she would be responsible for him.

just curious, you and mom are OKAY with your 17 year old daughter betting married? what is the hurry?

Marriage creates a legal condition of emanicpation that would terminate a child support order. Remember to get the CS order properly terminated through the courts after the marriage however, don't just assume CSE knows the circumstances and stop making payments. If you're under a wage garnishment you will have to get the order terminated to get the garnishment stopped.
