What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? texas
hi my wife suffers from bipolar disorder and her daughter now 14 wanted to live with her dad so she agreed along with the courts. She has been unemployed since jan 09 and the court based child support on my income and i have been paying the support payments. But my income has gone down and i cant afford to make payments and she is not my child does this seem right? |

Mom needs to get a job though - and OP, Mom will be hard-pressed to modify such a recent order so soon after it was made.
