What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Kentucky
When someone is incarcerated for 15 days out of the 31, does he/she have to pay the full month of child support or if it is in arrears, would he/she pay the full month or half? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Did the children eat for 15 days or 30 days?

Did the children use electricity for 15 days or 30 days?

Did the children wear clothes for 15 days or 30 days?

You get the idea.

You are liable for your court ordered amount until there is another court order.

Stunning...

Just because mom/dad goes to jail does not mean the children are not entitled to the funds for them to eat and have a home.

When mom/dad was in jail, they certainly ate and had a roof over their heads. The children are entitled to the same.

So yeah, support obligation is still there even if you were in jail.
