What is the name of your state? TX.well i just recieved a court order for my daughters dad to pay child support, and that's all it says.now out of the goodness of my heart i let her visit him, which she didn't want to go,for 2 weeks only now he has had her for 3 weeks and wants her to stay a 4th but she is crying to come home, and he is suppose to pay child support july 1st here it is the 12th,he thinks while he has her is doesn't have to pay! But the thing is there is no visitation rights in the court order! i just let her visit for 2 weeks only.and i even drove from Tx to Mo and saved him alot of money on airline tickets,he sent me 400.00 for the car rental and maybe a little gas,he didn't pay for food gas back or any food to put in his frig ,she cries every nite she has to stay there one more day.so what should i do?One lady i called said we can start trying to get his drivers lisences taken away,so i think its what i should do to give him a wake up call.He is very overbearing and i think my daughter doesn't want to go up there anymore. So he said he'll get a lawyer and have visitations, but i am the cust. partent since birth. We do not want to see him again after she comes home and i want it that way,its for the best i think,my daughter doesn't even love him or tell him either**************please helpWhat is the name of your state?TX

Jesus woman, take a breath.

What is stopping you from driving to Missouri with your court order and filing a police report? then driving to his home with an escort and taking your daughter back?

What is the heading on the "order" you received? In other words, is it from the court or just something he sent ?

If he is only 12 days late, and only on one payment, he's not losing his license over it. But feel free to spin your wheels with it.

Hate to break it to you, but if he files for visitation, he WILL get it. And once he does, your daughter WILL go or you will be found in contempt. So it's time to untwist your panties and get comfortable with that reality - and find a way to make your daughter comfortable with it, too.

This thread is in the wrong section of the forum. I bet if we dig a little deeper we can find some visitation in the psudo CO. OP, tell us more about what the order states.

Even Bad Fathers have rights

Stop worrying about getting him, and think about what is best for your daughter. Are you possibly hyper-sensitive to people controlling you? If you are truly concerned for her safety you need to prove that he is unfit, not just a big meanie to avoid his court visitation request becoming a legal reality. You need to be open-minded when it comes to his parenting style because the court will be, within reason. Teach your daughter and yourself to work with him in every possible way, your daughter will thank you for it later in life, and you will achieve a great step towards selflishness.

The court order for support is a slam dunk - go to the District Attorney's office and give them all of his current information and they will get the money he needs to pay. In the meantime, you can live off the state like so many young unwed mothers, until he is able to pay everything back.

Good Luck

Nice advice, TROLL! Perhaps I should file a class action civil suit against you for such ignorant advice. Yeah, exactly what us taxpayers need -- more people to support.

More Oxycodone Limbaugh?

It is an American right to services provided by the government. Your far right mentality to protect your mansion and mercedes payments bother me in the slightest. I would gladly give my paycheck to help children in dire straits. On the other hand, when a child is drowning, it is likely your foot holding their head under. You can't take it with you so your materialistic viewpoint will likely serve you not, when you reach the Plutonian Shores.

thanks but none of this helped me but if u need to know i let her see and be with him before the court order and my court order says nothing about a long visitation on it anywhere, its the 12th and he thinks since he has had her for 3 weeks now he shouldn't have to pay his child support,I told him i don't make the law but i do go by it.Well he is bringing her home this coming weekend finally.but still refuses to pay any support for July and it was due on the 1st already,so make fun of me but u don't know me or this man.So keep your bad remarks to yourself please this is serious here.

Yes, he still owes the support for July. But unless he is paying over $5000 a MONTH in child support, the court is not going to intercede at this point. The state will send him a bill for the unpaid amount for July with an explanations of how unpaid child support can incur interest. That should give him all the proof he needs to pay up.
