no.you do not owe child support until there is a court order.
And it is very unlikely that the court would order child support for a college age kid unless you agree to it.

If the child was younger, it would be somewhat more common for the court to offer normal child support and have it extend past age of 18, but if the kid's already 18? I'd fight it like crazy if they try.
