What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Missouri

I am legally married but seperated from my husband. We have been seperated over 2 years now, I met someone else and we had a baby together, our son is now almost 11 months old. My husband refuses to sign the paper stating he isn't the father. I need him to do so in order to put my boyfriend's name on his our sons birth certificate. Does this mean my husband will have to pay child support to a a child that isn't his?

Yes, that is a possibility.

Any reason why your boyfriend doesn't just file to establish paternity himself?

Or why you are not requesting boyfriend legally establish paternity? You are still legally married, and made a child by someone else. Pehaps you and boyfriend should together obtain a court ordered DNA test and prove paternity is boyfriend's?

Right now, the child IS his, legally.

If you and boyfriend do not disestablish hubby's paternity, the child will remain "his". He will have equal rights to file for custody, decision making etc.
