    Contempt of CS order

What is the name of your state? CS order was set in WV.

Ok I've noticed that my ex and his wife had posted on this forum and another forum about the situation with me. It was about me being in contempt of a CS order. I need some advice.

I moved out of the state where I was living to a neighboring state. Neither my ex or his wife lived in the state I moved from. They live in a totally different state. But I moved because people around my town were telling my ex everything I was doing and making up lies saying I was abusing my child and calling my ex and telling him. He called CPS on me twice. They found no abuse or neglect. I was so afraid for CPS to come back because they just scare me. I've heard stories where they find a little scratch and they take your child away. Plus his wife has been making fun of me on the internet. She makes profiles about me and spreads lies. So I moved to a location and I haven't told my ex where I'm at. I did tell my caseworker with BCSE. The Judge ordered me to have to notify my ex in writing within 14 days of moving as to my new address. I'm scared to because he said that he would call CPS again....and again.

Now I got a letter in the mail saying I have to go back to court because my ex filed a petition naming me in contempt of court since I didn't tell him my new address. Can I fight this just under the fact that his wife makes fun of me online and that CPS was called on me for no reason? Or will the Judge make me tell him where I am. He tells his wife everything. That's another reason I haven't told him. She will just modify her blog and say the town where I live in now. He has never threatened me with violence or my child. Neither has she. So I am scared of her. But I have no proof. She never tried to come to my old residence and start anything. Actually I've never seen her face to face.

Also the ex has no contact with my son. He can if we agree on a date/time. But he has never tried. He's never even seen him or talked to him. No birthday presents. And I doubt he will get a Christmas prsent from him either. And I said that his wife could not be involved with my son if my ex was and the Judge agreed at the CS hearing. Because she threatened me by saying once my son was old enough to understand she was going to get out the old birth certificate before I changed his name and tell him that he had another name at birth and I had to change his name because I had the wrong father named. Which I did. But that's nothing he needs to know. Plus she said she would tell him that I am a slut and all kinds of things. And my ex doesn't care. Also his wife is very manipulative. She called the office where I got food stamps and pretended to be me to "verify" that I had given them my new address. At that time I hadn't. And they verified my old address. Read it to her. Then I called my case worker and told them I had moved and she started asking me about me calling before to verify my address and I realized who it was. They know not to do that anymore.

Also she has my social security number because it's on the court order. And I was told by a very reliable source she was writing my social and name on blank pieces paper and throwing them into random garbage cans everywhere. But not her garbage. Just whenever she's out. So that hopefully someone will find it and steal it. Is there anything I can do about it?

Do I have any grounds for breaking the order at all?
The ex is supposed to pay 100 percent of all uninsured medical. But I'm paying it because I'm afraid the hospital bills/doc bills will contain my new address. Is there anything I can do to prevent them from having my new address on them.

I'm not giving the name of my state because they will see it. And they already know the man I'm living with first and last name. Just not what state we live in. I don't want them searching for his name and finding my new address. If you can't give me generalized info without the name of my state then oh well.

    Oh, well.
You can do your own research. Start at the top of this screen, left side, where it reads, "LEGAL TOPICS."

Its just the rules. You could have asked your question, without giving all the details that you provided, and this person would not have known it was you. Instead, you chose to provide information that could potentially, based on what you descirbed, identify you, and, therefore, your state.

I don't care if they know it's me. I just don't want them to know what state I live in. I never said I'm trying to keep my personal identity private.

Lets say I live in Rhode Island. Is that better. I named a state. However it's not where I live.

Are you dense? If you had not typed all of that drama, which CLEARLY indicates that you relish in it, it would have been easy for you to identify your state and get assistance.

    lol rhode island.

If I hadn't went into detail about why i didn't comply with the court order people would have just needed more information.

If you don't have any advice to contribute to the thread just don't post at all. You are wasting space.

Unless the court has agreed otherwise, dad has a right to know where and how to see his child.

First of all, the state you're in NOW is completely irrelevant. The state the order is from is what rules
