I'm trying to find out if copays and prescriptions are covered by child support or does that fall outside of the standard things such as food and clothing?

what if anything in your decree does it state about medical expenses? Unless noted as a seperate expense in the decree, all costs associated with raising the child are covered in the child support amount awarded.
