My husband pays child support to his first child. The mother of the child is claiming that she has to pay child care each month, but the child is 8 years old and has not been to a daycare or afterschool care program in over 3 years. This money is figured into his child support payment. What can he do to expose her lies. Her mother confirmed that the child has not been to a daycare or aftercare program. She said that she keeps the little girl most of the time and receives no monies for it.
Can this issue be pursued legally? $184 a month over 3 years is a lot of money, especially when someone is lying about needing it.

It's up to Dad to file for a modification. If he's not bothered to do it, it's not up to Mom to do it for him.

The $184 is for daycare. He was paying $873 per month, but she got a better job and he got a modification, now pays $620. which includes the $184 for childcare
