What is the name of your state? OK
My husband was with a girl 8 years ago. She got pregnant while they were seeing each other. But she was living with parents then. And he was living with his dad. He had sign a Affidavit Acknowledging Paternity form. So she could go to the Indian Hospital to have the baby. At that time, he thought he was the father. But now, he has doubt about it. So he would like to get a DNA test done to know for sure if the child is his or not. She file Child Support 2 times and didn't show up. This second times, they were going to close the case. But my husband decide to live it open. That way, she couldn't come back and reopen the case again. So he is going to start paying child support. But want to go ahead and get a DNA test done thou. The Child Support office told us that he would have to get a lawyer in order to do that. Can he get a DNA testing done and find out if the child is his or not? Thank you.
