What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? SC
My husband was recently deemed disabled. He has just started receiving disability payments for himself in addition to his 4 children. The oldest child is from his first marriage, therefore that monthly check is going directly to his ex-wife. She refuses to allow this monthly check to offset his monthly child support payments. Do SC state laws allow her to do this?
