Do I have the right

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Louisisana
If I am paying for the life, dental, and health insurance for my son and all of the other thing for him like food, clothes, activities, etc., and I am just getting $350.00 a month, will I be able to get an increase on the CS payments? That is the only thing that I get from his father. I doesn't get him or buy him other things. By him getting older he is getting a little pricey. He is 13 and a growing boy. I want to go for an increase but I don't want it to come on me and my payments that I receive for him go down instead of going up because he has more kids. His son was his first born and me were married when I had him. Help! I don't know what to do.

what figure do you get if you use a child support calculator such as

Louisiana Child Support Calculator - AllLaw.com

this is ballpark only! Put in ballpark figures for income if you don't know the real income. The other children aren't not included, they were born AFTER your son.

Are you getting a higher figure? If you are, and if it is a substantial amount, then you can file for a modification; or if you have not had an increase for at least 3 years.

Do you have any idea what kind of income dad has compared to what he was earning when the child support was set?
