We live in AZ but the child support case is in UT. If the custodial parent wants to go for more child support, do they take the non-custodial parents new spouses income into account?

not that I am aware of, and why would they? that person has no legal obligation to the child, did not have the child etc.

That's what I thought but have been told different by different people and wanted to check on a legal level if the new spouses income would be counted. Thank you for your help.

And for more protection on your income/assets...keep what's yours separate from your husbands.... Don't share checking/savings, etc accounts. Those amounts can come into play when reporting income/expenses...during modifications.

And you still haven't been told any verifiable legal facts, by anyone. I'd advise you to google yourself an Official Legal Answer from an official Utah government website.
