father of children will not reveal incomeWhat is the name of your state? massachusetts possibly nyc How can I uncover earnings of father of two children who lives in Panama and is on his fourth marriage and fourth child? He is in the restaurant business and I am filling out financial aid forms for college for my eldest. The father has reduced child support to half what he was sending a few years ago and said "it is all I am required to pay" He has never given any income statements and is only seeing the children once a year if at all. | And you would not only want to know his income, but how much in OTHER child support/spousal support (four marriages may = other kids?) he pays out of his income.

| A lot of states have a form that you can fill out (pick up at the self service center at the courthouse) and send to his employer. They are required by law to send you his income info within a certain amount of time or they could face heavy legal fees. I don't know how much weight this will hold out of the country but it might be worth looking into. Also in reguards to hiring an attorney. We cannot afford the retainer for one so we hire one hourly to do document review and give us legal advice and it is a lot more cost effective. |
