What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
The father of my daughter is now in prison pending a trial if convicted he will be sent away for a very long (20 to 25 years) time. my question is does child support continue to accumulate until our daughter is 18? Or does it stop because he's incarcerated and you cannot pay it.

Unless one of you files to stop or abate the order, it keeps accumulating.
