What is the name of your state? Arkansas

Noticed something new over the weekend and was wondering if anyone else has come across this.

We were filling out the Federal Student Aid Application and during the process of answering the questionaire, came across a child support verification section. In the Federal Application, you have to provide information on payments made or payments received from Child Support for the past two years. It even mentions that amounts will be verified.

Is this a step in the whole CS as income movement? I know they have been talking about it for a while now, but are they actually moving closer to it?

From a personal aspect, we have a second-go-around family. So we pay one order and receive one order. So I can see the advantage / disadvantage to claiming CS as income and expense.

Has anyone else come across this yet?
