Hello, I pay close to 500.00 a month for CS and would like to know if I'm able to get food stamps from the govt? If qualify, would it affect my CS in anyway?

Thanks

Thanks, I was asking because I seriously need them, between rent and all the other bills, I barely have enough for food and petro, at the end.

Seriously - we can't answer that. It depends on your income and everything else - we're good, but we're not psychic. ;)

So plug in the numbers and see if you qualify.

Again though, it won't reduce your child support obligation.

If you're living beyond your means, it might be time to seek a second or third job, or downsize, or even - if you have other substantial bills - considering bankruptcy which would at least free up resources so you can get your head above water.
