Have questions about going to court on Wednesday

What is the name of your state? Tennessee

I am going to court Wednesday for the first time. What is going to happen? I called today to confirm my court time/ day. I asked them if I needed to bring anything, they said "no". I asked if the father was required to be there, and they said yes. Well he is in the military, and I know he is NOT going to be there. So I am thinking I will win by default. My questions are: After this court appearance, how long does it take before I actually start getting child support? Secondly, what is the process to ask for arrearages? Is that automatic, or will I have to request it? Our child is now 4 years old, and he has known about her all along. He has only seen her one time, and sent a total of $900 on his own over the course of these past 4 years. I am tired of waiting for him to do the right thing, so I finally had to get CSED involved.

You need to grow up real fast. The legal father of your child is your husband.

Your a piece of work, or your a child yourself.
It is our unanimous opinion that you are damn right and it should be obvious to any moron that your (ex) (SO’s ex) (boss) (landlord) (local police) should be immediately (jailed) (fired) (reprimanded) (arrested) (demoted) (shot) (evicted).
In fact, you are so astonishingly correct in this matter, it will not surprise us one bit if you are offered a generous settlement, because, by golly, that’s just how it should be.

I did this for my ex, and forgave him $7000 in arrears. I lived in IN and he in AK at the time. I was the one who had opened the case originally, so it was my responsibilty to get this cleared up. All the Child support Enforcement Office did was send a paper for me to sign acknowledging that I forgave all back support. I sent it back in, they filed it, and they cleared it off of the account. If your ex is the one who opened the case, all she has to do is ask for a waiver of arrears form, sign it, and send it back in.

    What personality is this one?

what are you talking about "what personality is this one"? There is absolutely NO need to be rude on this forum. We are people who are new to a process, come on here to get helpful advise from people who have been through it, and then you sit an bad mouth, degrade, and ridicule people? And YOU have the nerve to say I am a "piece of work" or a "child"? Believe me, if I was a child, I would totally tell you what I think of YOU right now. You are very rude, and please do NOT reply to any help I have asked for again. All you are doing is wasting space on this forum. If you have issues with me, without even knowing my story, you can email me directly, as a matter of fact, I invite you to!

    Paridise- your tooooo funny!!!

LOL- oh how CONVENIENT- you may be able to call me a child with no proof, but you are a COWARD and all the proof is there. You leave nasty rude messages on EVERYONE'S posting, but wont allow anyone to email you? Hide behind the "administrators permission" to send you an email huh? Because you know all you are doing is trying to piss people off. And wow, an average of 6 postings per day!??! Your little "Forbes" tag on your messages is pretty funny, considering you want to be "rich" but all you do is sit your ass on a computer all day long harrasing people. Hunny, you will NEVER get rich that way, so get off your butt and do something productive. I didnt have a problem with your "constructive criticism" until I saw what a coward and no lifer you are. Now I just think its funny that you think YOU are in a position to sit and judge!!! HAHAHAAAAAAA. Whatever you had to say to me has completely lost all value. LMAO.

I don't allow e-mails from strangers, that does not make me a coward. Say anything you want right here. Because you know all you are doing is trying to piss people off. Because you were married to someone else at the time of conception and birth of the child- Your husband at that time is the legal father to the child. You will need to DISestablish Paternity- then File to establish paternity via DNA testing of the Army bio father. Once he has DNA established then he can be ordered to begin paying child support. You likely won't get arrearages because #1 Your husband at the time was the assumed father. #2 You haven't filed or established paternity prior to now. I think once that is all handled, you will get support dated from establishment of paternity.

Stop having sex with other men while you are still married- and you won't have this confusion re; who the legal father is.
