What is the name of your state? Texas
I owe back child support and my ex wife has agreed to drop all interest that was tacked on. We live in twoo different states and the case is through my state, Texas. Now that we have agreed what steps do I take next? Talking with the AG's office is next to imposible! The County Attorney says that if the ex is in agreement then we need to file "Release of Child Support Lein" before anything else can be done, as far as changing or dropping an existing order. I cannot afford to hire an attorney and wish to do this on my own. Can you help? How do I get this form and where do I file it? Thanks for any help! T
