What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TN/CA
CP lives in TN, OP in CA

OP is self employed (has his own business). He refused to give the court the requested income documentation. By default they imput him at min. wage. How can his actual income be determined if he does not report it to the IRS.

You can subpoena his business records, although you may need a forensic accountant to make sense of it.

If he keeps no records and deals only in cash then there is really no way huh? I mean the court can see the expensive house he lives in, the multiple cars and 8+ or so motorcycles etc.
I guess it's really a moot issue anyway since he doesn't pay the low amount he was ordered in the first place. Thanks though.
