What is the name of your state? California: My husband has Joint Custody of his son both physical and Legal. The Child spends one week with us and one week with his mother. It is 50% right down the middle. My question: Is he still required to payout childsupport to the child's mother based on the fact the child is spending equal time with both parents?

Look up the child support calculator for that State .

I believe it depends on each other's income .
