How come when you call an attorney for a consultation they are always available? And when you call to pay your retainer they answer the phone? But when you have a question about something they are always in court, with a client, out to lunch, left early for the day......would you like their voice mail.....
Lawyers don't have time to answer every phone call that comes into their office. They instruct their secretaries to tell the client they are not in even though they are.
Although in my opinion most lawyers are greedy and really don't care about their clients, I really don't blame them for not answering phone calls all the time because most calls from clients really need no addressing.
However, if a client's case is in a crossroad where close contact with the client is necessary, then the client will not be blown off.
