What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? RI

If my children and I are living with their father (NOT MARRIED) can i still collect child support? Their father had another child from previous marriage and pays 25% of his pay for his support. The state (MA) only lowered it a little due to change of income but does not take into consideration that there are other children.

You mean, can you still collect OFFICIAL child support, as in, to file a claim and be awarded CS from the man with whom you live?

No.

It won't change the amount of support that goes to the other children he is supporting. So your plan of taking money out of his pocket to put it back in his pocket won't work.
