WENT TO COURT ON JUNE 10 2013 for child support....ncp didnt go to work on june 11, 12, 13, and 14 because upset about child support proceedings. ncp quit job on june 15th 5 days after he was told to pay support and after 5 years of continuous and stable employment earning 60k per year...ncp was out of work for months. ncp finally found another job that laid ncp off after only 6 weeks. now ncp is asking for a reduction in cp becuase he was laid off from job of six weeks. is a reduction inthis case possible?

Yes, it's possible.

If he is involuntarily unemployed, I think his attempt to have his support reduced is likely to suceed.
He may not be considered so, though, if his actions caused hid termination. Not showing up will often lead a person to be let go.
