What is the name of your state? TX

My husband and his X are getting a notarized letter that if NCP does not pay CS for three months then CS will go up to what it should be. (CP agreed to reduce CS in half). Will this letter hold up in court? If so, is there anything that needs to be put in there that makes it legal?

Notarized letters like this mean squat in court.
