O.M.G. he got a J.O.B.!

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NC

I found out the reason for the unexpected $1,300 payment (Success with m/o to show cause thread) - My ex-husband got a job! There was a lag between collections in NV and disbursement to NC and they just kinda added up. I wrote NC Support kids through their web site and my case worker (sorry, but I've been my own case worker ) was able to ferret out this bit of information for me. This is great! I get money for my growing-by-the-minute-ten-sandwich-be-eating-Jethro-Bodine-clone son AND the bench warrant is still out there waiting! Even better if his job utilizes his CDL - which is quite possible.

What about you getting a job? Are you always going to be depending on someone else to provide for you/your offspring?

The country already depends on the Chinese, Japanese, Brits, and the Saudis to supply us with credit for our lifestyle. One day that line of credit will be cut. Just like yours will when CS ends.

What are you even talking about? How do you know she doesn't have a job?
She's been providing for her children solo for a while it sounds like. Her kids have a right to be provided by BOTH parents and from the sounds of it, DAD was the one who was lagging in that department.

nothing in this person's posts suggest she's living off credit lines to support a lifestyle. Puh-leeze.

Ok read poster's history. Saw the post where she did lose her job...
However, that doesn't mean she's not finding away to provide for her son. I applaud her for staying on top of her game to get the money she's entitled to to support her child.
CS is NOT a line of credit.
