paying 1/2 of medical billsWhat is the name of your state? TX my husband has 3 children ... he was ordered to have insurance on them and to also pay 1/2 of out of pocket expensives ... which we have no problem with except the fact that his ex seems to think we have to hand over how ever much she says when ever she says . As a result we started demanding paid receipts for all medical appts. and perscriptions. now seems as tho every week theres a Dr. appt and 2 or 3 perscriptions to pay for so my question is ... can we set up a quaterly schdule to pay our 1/2 ? once every 3 or 4 months ? just to add he carries really good ins 10 doller co pays and such ..the 2 things that get to us is she insistes on no generic scripts and she likes to use the ER ALOT !!! we are hoping if she has to have a little money out of her pocket for a few months that cough and sneezing can wait till monday morning to go to the reg dr |

| If your husbands agreement for medical does not include "quarterly" payments. then no, you cannot just decide that yourselves. I don't know how your doctor works, but mine is payable at the time of service. Yeah, great, first time the kids really are sick and mom can't afford the out of pocket expense to take them to the ER, you will have proven your point. ![]() |
