What is the name of your state? CT
SIMPLE question I think?
Doing a "Do it yourself Divorce" in CT,
final date is set for JULY.
In the meantime, is there ANY allowance or petition to file for support NOW?
Two kids, low income and I am DYING financially as I carry our joint debts.
ANY HELP is so APPRECIATED!

Support during the pendency of the action is not unusual in some states.

I can't tell you if it is in your state.

This is not a DIY.

Has there been any preliminary hearings? They usually set it at that hearing. If not try calling your local child support office and ask them how you would go about doing that? Problem is, this is the end of March already... depending on how back up the courts are it might be May or June before you get in, then it can take up to 45 days or more if they do a wage withholding. My point is that your asking to pay more court fees in between time for the CS hearing.
