Non-custodial parent has not been employed for several years and has not paid child support. Custodial parent is placing a lein on his vehicle for non-payment of support. Does this mean the car needs to be sold immediately or that the custodial parent has the right to take the car? Or, simply that if and when the car is sold (lets say 5 years from now) the custodial parent is entitled to the proceeds to satisfy the lein amount?
