In California if a man quits his job to join the military (I do not think he is doing it to be spiteful) can he be imputed? His salary will be cut in a third and we go to court on Tuesday. I can not afford a lawyer. I have found the family code and it does not talk about intent when you quit a job. I do feel, however, since we've been in front of this judge four times this year about child support and the judge has said he encourages the military he may side with the father. The girls father has 5% custody which he does not exercise for his own personal reasons. I'm not sure what to expect. Thank you.
