question about modification

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA

I have a question that maybe somebody can help me with. My husband was hospitalized from February to July (he was just discharged last week) & he needs to have his support modified. He did apply for diability but not sure how long it will take, so right now he has no income comming in. He has a bit of memory loss & right now I've been trying to handle things for him the best to my ability. My question is...can he either call domestic relations or write a note giving me permission to go there to get the form for him to fill out?

If it wasn't such a hassle to get him in a car & into the building (he's 6'6" & in a wheelchair) I would just bring him there, but I'm trying to make this a little less stressful on him if I can.

You don't have to go in person: you can use their website to get the forms.

And, if you type and he signs, there is no need/reason for anyone to know who did what.

Good luck to you and your family.

Would it be form IN-008?

It is asking for income & expenses. Since he has no income & I am supporting him fully (paying all expences) wouldn't it just be blank??

No. You need to fill in what his expenses are.

Nothing stated by me should be taken as giving you legal advice or forming an attorney/client relationship. The devil is in the details after all.

You can make a notation on the form that he is involuntarily unemployed due to health, and state that you (wife) is supporting the household.
