What is the name of your state? Texas. Once the non custodial parent has meet all child support payments ordered and then ordered thru the AG's office to pay all the intrest that accrued on the back child support, does the child, or I should say adult has quit college, does this have any bearing on still having to pay the intrest. See once you get behind in the state of Tx, it really does not matter how much you attempt to catch up, they are not going to allow it. This is done by charging componded intrest and the then rate of 12% per year, that was in 1993. Believe it has not changed to
6%. Any help will be much appreciated.
