What is the name of your state? FL

My ex-boyfriend has decided to hire an attorney to relinquish his rigjhts to avoid child support. I filed through the state and paternity has been established. He lives in GA I am in FL. Can he do that..if not..why would an attorney accept his case and what extenuating circumstances would exempt him from paying child support?

And we do? There are all kinds of strategies for him to renounce parenthood, ways he can sue you and other ways that he will lose. For anyone to give you a specific answer without any facts whatsoever, would be ridiculous.

Facts?....I met him when I was in the process of moving to Ga..met him while interviewing..we started a relationship, I became pregnant and he was freaked but encouraged me to move to GA..invited me to move in with him..i declined, we continued relationship and I moved to GA.. he continued to express his "disgust" with pregnancy (he is 38 with no children) and I ended relationship..which he happily accepted..I left GA .we spoke during pregnsny snd he was aware of my need for support and acknowledged his reponsibilty..until my sons' birth..and now he won't speak with me... that is it..does that make a diff?
