What is the name of your state? GA

If a temporary order states "both parents are to inform the other of school, church and recreational activites and functions", would this include Middle School Softball Tryouts?

The attorney states that it was to meant to mean banquets, award ceremonies, etc. We disagree. School activites are school activites period.

Is the attorney correct?

Is softball a church, recreational or other function?

Tell the attorney that once he assends to the bench he can interpret such language. Until then, the plain language of the order stands.

I think if you're going to pick apart temporary orders to this extent, you both need to take coparenting classes ASAP.

Time to give up the war and start parenting the kid/s. This is petty.

OMG, ask the school to send you duplicate information. You are being ridiculous.

School, church and recreational

The school is giving him the run around about "not being on the list". He just wants to be involved in the kids activites. She is the one not telling him. He found out about the tryouts by an article in the paper. He has attended parenting classes.

Why can't he be happy and proud to watch her play all just like the mother? He has to pick apart the orders to be involved or he will never get any where.

Thanks for the advice.

Go to www.deltabravo.com for info on how to deal w/the school. Good luck.

He can certainly be involved in his child's life and schooling.
