    Summer Child Support

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Virginia

My husband has kids from a previous marriage, who live with their mom. We see them every other weekend and pay child support. Both boys have decided to stay with us for the summer (10 weeks) and we want to know if we still have to pay her child support.

Your husband pays until a court tells him to do otherwise.

CS is to reimburse the CP,; their primary home still has to have utilities paid, mortage/rent paid, etc etc.

Unless your husband goes back to court to change the child support order, he still needs to pay child support according to the current order.

All my child support has been calculated based on a years worth of visitation, so if he anticipates having the kids next summer as well, that could be justification for reducing the amount in court.

Both BOYS have decided? Really? What does mom say about that? What does the court order state?
Parents should remember 3 things: Love your kids more than you hate your ex; when you have children the relationship with the other parent is until death; your children determine what type of nursing home you end up in.
Nothing stated by me should be taken as giving you legal advice or forming an attorney/client relationship.
